Two months after suffering a heart attack, beloved actor Michael Clarke Duncan passed away on Monday morning.

During his impressive career he racked up many Hollywood admirers, all of whom have released statements or taken to twitter to express their grief at the loss of his life.

"Michael Clarke Duncan passed away this morning in Los Angeles, his fiancée, Reverend Omarosa Manigault told Hollyscoop. The Oscar-nominated actor suffered a myocardial infarction on July 13 and never fully recovered. Manigault is grateful for all of your prayers and asks for privacy at this time. Celebrations of his life, both private and public, will be announced at a later date."

Tom Hanks, his The Green Mile co-star released this statement: “I am terribly saddened at the loss of Big Mike. He was the treasure we all discovered on the set of The Green Mile. He was magic. He was a big love of man and his passing leaves us stunned.

His friend Steve Harvey tweeted, “I will miss my friend, Michael Clarke Duncan. What an incredible soldier in God’s Plan.”

Dwayne Johnson writes, “When something happens, we always say it happens for a reason. Michael Clarke Duncan 12/10/57 – 9/3/12 I’ll miss you my brother…”

Zachary Levi writes about the time he worked with the actor, “Blessed to have had the opportunity to work with Michael Clarke Duncan while he was still with us. He was a kind soul that will be missed.”

Frank Darabont, who directed Michael in The Green Mile also released a statement” “The sadness I feel is inexpressible. I’m devastated at the loss of Michael Clarke Duncan, one of the finest people I’ve ever had the privilege to work with or know. Michael was the gentlest of souls – an exemplar of decency, integrity, and kindness.”

Olivia Munn also tweeted, “Michael Clarke Duncan always had a smile on his face & a big bear hug ready for you. My thoughts & prayers are with his family & friends. RIP.”

Holly Robinson Peete writes, “RIP Michael Clarke Duncan Heaven has an amazing new angel. I will miss your smile most.”

Sherri Shepherd tweeted, “So sad & shocked to hear the death of Michael Clarke Duncan. Only 54 years old – he never recovered from his heart attack in July RIP sit. My heart and prayers go out to you @Omarosa…I remember you telling me how happy you & Michael Clarke Duncan were – so sorry.”
