Dexter's Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter Divorcing

Things are about to get super awkward on the set of Dexter. Michael C. Hall and his wife Jennifer Carpenter are divorcing.

Michael and Jennifer, who play brother and sister on the Showtime series, are using the 'we've been separated for some time' excuse that seems to be a big trend lately.

"Having been separated for some time, Jennifer Carpenter and Michael C. Hall have filed for divorce," the reps say in a joint statement.

I don't know about you guys but I'm pretty bummed about the news. Jennifer stood by Michael during his battle with Hodgkin's lymphoma and now it's over?! Boo!
