The season 6 finale airs this Sunday and Michael C. Hall says it's definitely not rainbows and ponies for Dexter.
"I don't know about a happy ending. I think the question is what happens to him. Is he done in?

Hollyscoop talked EXCLUSIVELY with Julia at the Golden Globes yesterday, and she gushed about her rumored lover.
She told us, “He's terrific, all my scenes are with him. He's just a really inspiring actor.”
Julia added, “I think he made me a better actress. He is so sweet and it was great.”
She went on to tell us that Hall’s was cancer-free when they were shooting together. “Yeah, he was totally healthy when we were working together, you know onward and upward,” she said.
As for joining such an already-established show, Julia said to us, “It was already really successful before I got involved so I was riding its coat tails. It was great, I loved what they wrote for me. The enthusiasm on set is really contagious—everybody, the cast and crew—they really believe in what they are doing. It's a nice environment.”
One thing most fans might not realize that goes on behind the scenes of Dexter? “Surprisingly there is a lot of joking around for such a dark show,” Julia told us.
She makes it all sound so innocent! IDK I’m on the fence on this rumor still….what do you think?

Julia responded to the allegations she had something to do with Hall’s sudden split from wife Jennifer Carpenter, telling E! Online it’s BS.
Michael C. Hall's Other Woman Revealed
"I have absolutely nothing to do with the split between Michael and Jennifer," Stiles said in a statement released by her rep.
"We are good friends and enjoyed working together. This is a personal matter between them, and we should respect their privacy. Although I too prefer to keep my private life, private—I felt compelled to dispel the rumors I was somehow the cause for this matter."
Yeah, right. Julia’s psyched because her career hasn’t been this hot since Save the Last Dance.
Don’t hold your breath—I’m sure we haven’t heard the end of this dirty rumor. Keep in mind, most blind items have some truth to them. As Hollyscoop reported yesterday, the blind about Julia and Michael was that they had crazy chemistry on set, and ended up getting really “close” at a Halloween party a couple months ago.
Who do you believe???

Everyone was shocked to hear Dexter's Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter were calling it quits after just two years of marriage, and while they're pretending it was an amicable split, we hear otherwise.
Sources on set of Dexter tell Hollyscoop EXCLUSIVELY that Michael and his new co-star Julia Stiles "have a lot of chemistry and seemed to be extra cozy with each other."
Our source added, "The way he's been behaving lately you would have never thought his marriage just ended." Guess it helps that he's already moved on.
But it seems the two were trying to keep their affair under wraps, especially from crew members. Our on-set source says there was a sneaking suspicion Michael and Julia were doing the nasty on the down-low. "I figured something was definitely up once I heard about the divorce announcement," says our insider.
“Having been separated for some time, Jennifer Carpenter and Michael C Hall have filed for divorce,” their reps said in a joint statement on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, here's an interesting Blind Item I came across on Laineygossip.com earlier today:
I mentioned yesterday that there are a few more details about one of the recent splits announced in Hollywood this week. Turns out there was someone else: his love interest this season on his TV show. Their chemistry was so crazy and so evident to everyone that writer and producers, seeing it play out on set, actually cranked up their sex scenes to capture it for show. Her career has seen a resurgence since.
Eventually the two fell in love. They were together, very close, at a Halloween party in New York this fall hosted by a famously controversial writer (this isn’t a super important detail) and those who observed them that night are not surprised now that he’s ended it with his wife.
It shouldn't come as a surprise that he would fall for Julia while filming steamy sex scenes. He and Jennifer, who play brother and sister on the hit TV show, fell in love on set as well. From one co-star to another, pft. Bet Dexter's on everyone's sh*t list this Christmas for making things awkward on set. #justsaying.

Michael and Jennifer, who play brother and sister on the Showtime series, are using the 'we've been separated for some time' excuse that seems to be a big trend lately.
"Having been separated for some time, Jennifer Carpenter and Michael C. Hall have filed for divorce," the reps say in a joint statement.
I don't know about you guys but I'm pretty bummed about the news. Jennifer stood by Michael during his battle with Hodgkin's lymphoma and now it's over?! Boo!

Michael C. Hall Wins Golden Globe, Briefly Talks About Cancer
Last month, Dexter executive producer Sara Colleton told Entertainment Weekly that Hall was doing well and the show would be back on course. "Michael’s in full remission," she said.
"He’s in great shape and is getting his energy back. We are all very excited to get back to work. The guy is incredibly courageous and worked hard all through last season despite being sick. He’s an amazing human being and actor."
Michael announced that he was suffering from Hodgkin's lymphoma in January. We're so glad to hear he's beaten cancer!

Hall won the award for best actor in a drama for Showtime's Dexter and while he was backstage speaking to reporters he said, "It's nice to see colleagues and for me to show [people] I am doing fine."
The actor had initially wanted to keep his battle with cancer a secret, but was unable to because of award show season.
"I had every intention of keeping it quiet, but because award shows were imminent, I had to make a statement," he said.
He admits that at this point in his life he is just trying to stay positive, "I like to think I have a good head on my shoulders," he said. "I have never been less susceptible to [having a big head] given the more down in the trenches stuff I have been considering."
We wish Michael a speedy recovery!

He reportedly has Hodgkin's lymphoma, a cancer of the lymphatic system, which is part of the body's immune system.
The disease is considered highly treatable with the potential for full recovery, and according Hall’s spokesman Craig Bankey, the disease is currently in remission.
The rep said the cancer is in complete remission and Hall's treatment will continue as planned. When and where the actor was diagnosed with the disease is unknown at this point.
Hall plans on attending the Golden Globes this Sunday with his wife and Dexter co-star Jennifer Carpenter. We wish Michael the best on his road to recovery.
