Men In Trees
June 11, 2008

Tonight's last supper should make the mouth water. The 14-episode food fight comes to a savory end in the conclusion of the two-part Season 4 finale. Last week in Puerto Rico, the final four chefs created myriad pork dishes by using various parts of whole local pigs. Likable Antonia didn't go hog wild, however, and she fell victim to the chopping block. That leaves Lisa, Richard and Stephanie as tonight's final three foodies — and one of them will emerge as the winner. Still not full of Top Chef? Bravo serves up an extra side item next week with a reunion episode.
So You Think You Can Dance? @ 8pm
Now that the pretenders and wannabes have been dismissed, the selection of the top 20 dancers means that the wheat has been separated from the chaff. But as this score of hopeful hoofers — 10 males and 10 females — split up into pairs, there's still a tough row to hoe because, from this time forward, they'll face the harshest judges of all: the viewers. Let the games begin!
Celebrity Circus @ 9:30pm
Well, Hollywood can be a real circus, but seven celebrities are taking it to the next level. Antonio Sabato Jr., Christopher Knight, Blu Cantrell, Jason "Wee Man" Acuña, Rachel Hunter, Stacey Dash and Janet Evans try their hand at circus acts that usually require years of training to master. But celebrities can do anything, right? With some good editing..... That's for viewers to decide in weekly online votes to determine who stays and who goes home. Joey Fatone serves as the show's ringmaster.
Men In Trees @ 10pm
Money is one of tonight's themes, which is fitting enough in an ironic way since the show didn't make enough of it to warrant retention, so this is the series finale. The money issues here, though, involve how much of it Marin and Jane have, and how that might affect their relationships with Jack and Sam, respectively. But Topic A as Elmoians gather for their big talent show is Patrick and Annie: We all might want them back together, but she seems to want Ivan. What gives? Find out tonight. And one more thing: Back at the Chieftain, Ben finally cuts off Jerome.
June 4, 2008

We are closing out the audition process and eliminating the great from the not so good! In fact, next week we'll meet our top 20 dancers on Thursday. Yeah!! Then the real showstopping performances begin and the real stars of this show--the choreographers---can steal the spotlight from each other by providing amazing dance steps and creative, artistic ideas translated into unforgettable routines.
Men In Trees @ 10pm
This is the next-to-last episode, so if Annie and Patrick are going to get back together — or not — they'll have to do it soon. But don't expect it tonight when he returns to Elmo with his new-found memories. Another loose end: Mai and Buzz's separation. Look for developments here. And how is Sam adopting to life in the Big Apple? Very nicely, thank you. Perhaps too nicely.
She's Got The Look @ 10pm
Host Kim Alexis calls this new reality show "a modeling competition like no other," and, considering the runways are crowded with teens and twentysomethings, she's probably right. Casting calls went out in Los Angeles, Dallas, Atlanta and New York, and tonight a group of 20 women — all age 35 and over — will move into a New York loft together and begin a six-episode contest to compete for a shot at a modeling contract and a photo spread in Self magazine.
Top Chef @ 10pm
Hungry for the last course? Part 1 of the two-part Season 4 finale (the conclusion airs next week) figures to be tasty, with the remaining four chefs — Stephanie, Richard, Antonia and Lisa — heading to Puerto Rico to square off for the final three spots. This fab four takes in the Caribbean sights and sounds without Spike, who hit the pike last week when his ill-mastered frozen scallops steamed the judges. Puerto Rican cuisine authority Wilo Benet is the guest judge tonight.
May 27, 2008

It's Day 2 of the season premiere and the cut-throat auditions continue on this two-hour episode. The dancers have just a minute each to impress the judges with their moves and rigorous routines in order to remain in the competition. Who will impress the judges and get to strut their stuff at the call-backs and who will have to pack up their dancing shoes and head home?
Men In Trees @ 10pm
The good news is "Men in Trees" returns from its writers' strike hiatus this week. The bad news? Fans should make sure to catch every episode because the show won't return next season. On this episode marking the beginning of the end, Marin helps the very nervous Jack get ready for his first lecture as a college professor in Anchorage. And as a token of his appreciation he returns with a very unusual gift for Marin -- four puppies. As cute as they are, Marin ends up spending a ton of time taking care of them...and not getting much writing done. Meanwhile, as Annie starts working on auditions for Elmo's First Annual Talent Show, she realizes she might be falling for Ivan. A world away in New York, Patrick isn't sure about Pilar's advances toward him.
Real World: Hollywood @ 10pm
The roommates pay Joey a visit in rehab, where they get an update on his progress. We sure can't wait for that crazy nut to come back in the house. Meanwhile, Will and Dave are incensed by a prank Greg pulls...one that doesn't turn out to be all that funny. Who would have thought Greg was pulling all those childish pranks? He seems so mature and carries himself with a bit of "I am too good" attitude, yet wants to play around with his roomies?? The roomies are about to show him what they really think of him!
Top Chef@ 10pm
Tonight's episode is NOT for vegetarians. The five remaining cheftestants must clean and butcher meat as guest judge Rick Tramonto, a Chicago chef and cookbook writer, rates their handiwork. Will their cuts of beef end up worthy of a five-star steakhouse or a fast food burger joint? We hear McDonald's in the near future!

The models get personal training from Tyra tonight as she teaches them how to express themselves during a fashion show and work the end of a runway. Each gal then takes part in a posing challenge, with the winner getting to work (in the nude!) with photographer and judge Nigel Barker (nice work if you can get it). And what would a Top Model episode be without a little drama in the house? Some of the posers become alarmed when one lady's clock keeps waking them up during the night, which leads, of course, to some not exactly model behavior.
It feels like the winter edition of the low-rated reality series has gone on forever. It's been 49 days since the original 16 houseguests entered the compound, and half of them are still in the game. At least obnoxious crybaby Matt, the first member of the jury, is gone. Who will join him tonight: Sharon or Chelsia? Does it matter? Unfortunately, there is no one in the house as entertaining as last season's winner Evel Dick, who demonstrated again on last night's show why viewers either love him or hate him. The producers should bring him back more often.
Have you ever thought about how a town the size of Elmo can support Ben's professional hockey team? It's probably not a good idea to try, but the story line gives the producers a diversion from weightier matters, like Cash's kidney disease (he's not getting better) or the depression Jack has been suffering from since his ordeal in the Bering Sea (there might be some light at the end of this tunnel). Tonight, Ben signs an actual star (Diego Klattenhoff) for the Huskies, a Croatian who's as temperamental as he is talented. But the hockey hotshot can be charming, and Annie notices.
The palate-pleasing series continues to serve up good reality eats when the remaining culinary artists take on more gastronomical challenges. On the menu: The foodies must dish up fare at a neighborhood block party, with chef and Mexican cuisine master Rick Bayless overseeing the task.

Law & Order @ 10pm
The violent slaying of an art dealer initially appears to have connections to a terrorist organization. But the probe leads Lupo and Green to the victim's troubled son (Will Denton, Jeremy Sisto's former cast mate on NBC's short-lived Kidnapped) and his ties to a fanatic religious group.
Everybody seems to be on edge this week: Jack is all jumpy and won't tell Marin why. He even downs a double scotch on the plane taking them to New York, where they're going to celebrate Sam and Jane's marriage. Jerome is nervous, too, and not just because he's afraid of flying: He's on his way to see his new inamorata — Annie's mother, Mary Alice. And back in Elmo, Celia's behavior is certainly turning heads: She arrests Patrick for his role in her auto accident.
We're down to only two Davids in the competition after David Hernandez became this season's first finalist to bite the dust. Tonight, another singer joins Hernandez on the sidelines. What's your guess?? And Kellie Pickler performs "Red High Heels"!!
After last week's flan flop sent Nimma packing, the pressure is on for the 11 remaining contestants, who raid a local farmers' market for fresh ingredients in hopes of creating the perfect quick-fire dish for guest judge and Big Apple restaurateur Wylie Dufresne. And later, the players split into teams to cater an elegant event at the zoo. If last week's already simmering rivalries are any indication, this team competition is sure to get wild.
Last week, Allison was sent packing which eliminated a small portion of the cattiness in the house but we've still got a long way to go before this becomes a clean competition. Tonight, supermodel Vendela gives the ladies tips on posing for catalog, commercial and couture shoots to prepare them for a posing competition on the streets of New York City.

March 5, 2008
In the inimitable words of mentor extraordinaire Tim Gunn, tonight's finale is a "wow moment." After five long months of tailoring their wear ware, the three finalists present their collections at New York's Fashion Week, arguably fashion's largest stage. Rami, Jillian and the fierce Christian battle for the top-designer crown. Who will be best in sew? Adding some spice to the proceedings is posh pop fashionista Victoria Beckham, who serves as a guest judge.
It's makeover time! And that, of course, means fears and tears, as not everyone agrees with Tyra's vision. But the ladies are pleased with an appearance by supermodel Elle Macpherson and the chance to model her line of lingerie. In the house, Fatima and Allison (surprise!) cause friction, and in the judging room, another gal is eliminated.
Until now, Marin was unaware that Jack was missing in the Bering Sea, but she finds out tonight and, not surprisingly, it hits her like a ton of bricks. Also not surprisingly, Elmoians rally round her. Especially Cash. Unfortunately, he'll need her to return the favor after he finally goes to the doctor about his long-neglected kidney disease. And, while we're on the subject of bad news, look for more on the Annie-Patrick and Sara-Eric fronts. But the news won't be all bad.
The race for the presidency is in full swing, and one of the major issues candidates are talking about is border control. The Reno deputies happen to be thinking about the same issue in this episode, which sees them heading south to volunteer their services to build a section of the wall intended to keep Mexicans from illegally crossing into America. Considering they're so adept at doing their police duties, why wouldn't they be able to handle a matter of national security?
February 27, 2008
It has been more than two months, so where are we? Jack's adrift in the Bering Sea and Marin doesn't know it, but she is concerned that he hasn't called. She's also fending off guys — including Patrick, who still has amnesia and is sick of feeling guilty about it. Poor Annie. Unfortunately, things won't get any better for her in this episode. Things aren't going well for Cash, either, and Elmo will find out why tonight. Meanwhile, Jane and Sam and Sara and Eric are entering into new living arrangements: bicoastal and celibate, respectively. Care to bet on how they'll turn out?
The series relocates to its original home as the 14 would-be models move into their smoke-free New York apartment, an environment that is more suited to some than to others. Another switch tonight is the addition of Paulina Porizkova as a weekly judge, and she proves to be far more critical than the departed Twiggy, which is a welcome change. The girls take in some Big Apple sights, their most memorable being a visit to Times Square, which they see from the end of a runway when they participate in an impromptu fashion show. Later, the gals pose as homeless individuals for the fashion shoot. Last, but certainly not least, one lady shocks the judges with a stunning revelation as the first finalist is sent packing.
The thread of seamless drama was snipped last week when a reunion episode aired. Yes, it was fun to dish on the season (Ricky's crying jags, Chris' roaring laugh, Heidi's highlights and lowlights), but we wanted the Bryant Park Fashion Week showdown. Well, wait no more. Tonight the final clothiers gear up for the big battle in Part 1 of the two-part season finale. Up for the crown: Christian, Jillian and either Rami or Chris. (The latter two tied in the previous challenge and will face off in a pre-Fashion Week competition. The winner of that will then advance to Bryant Park.) Next week's conclusion should be spicy, particularly with Spice Girl and fashionista Victoria Beckham in the house as a guest judge.
Is David Archuleta the one to beat?? "Imagine": When it started up, I was worried — John Lennon is sacrosanct in this household — but this was gorgeous, original and made Paula cry (granted, not all that hard to do). When she said, "You're destined for superstardom," I had to agree. The scene with him at age 11 singing for Kelly Clarkson was priceless. Watch tonight, with Amy Davis and Joanne Borgella getting the boot last week, there are 10 remaining female singers left to perform tonight. Will Alexandréa, Asia'h, Carly, Ramiele and Syesha be able to stay in the judges' good graces or will two of them be taking their final bows tomorrow?

Ghost Whisperer @ 8pm
A promising musician is forced to abandon his dream when a ghostly energy begins attacking him while he plays. Melinda discovers two spirits are attached to the artist, each claiming the other is to blame for the problem. Meanwhile, Delia is intent on celebrating her late husband's birthday, but Ned wants nothing to do with the ceremony. 'N Sync member J.C. Chasez, billed as Joshua Chasez, guest stars. Side note: if those Playboy offer rumors were true, I think Love would have been great in it...don't ya think?
Men in Trees @ 8pm
When Marin and Cash make a bet to see who can make the better stew, Marin ventures into the forest to find a special root---and gets lost. Meanwhile, newly engaged Lynn wishes Jack would exhibit more passion toward her; Patrick wants to change his surname to better reflect who he really is; and Sara's ex-husband wants full custody of their son, even though she's no longer in the "service" industry.
Women's Murder Club @ 9pm
If you sense a palpable chemistry in this repeat from November, there's a reason for it: When Lieutenant Boxer investigates a pro football player's murder, she meets an NFL star who is the victim's close friend. That pal is played by Angie Harmon's real-life husband, NFL analyst and former player Jason Sehorn.
Moonlight @ 9pm
A convicted murderer who knows the truth about Mick's immortality is released from prison after serving 25 years. New evidence indicates he was wrongly convicted, but Mick knows he's guilty and will kill again. Upon his release, the man targets Mick as his next victim. Latest scoop: there's a very positive chance that Moon will get a full season order and is believed to have tremendous growth potential, not to mention a great sexy star lead Alex O'Loughlin.

Ghost Whisperer: @ 8pm
Kudos to Jennifer Love Hewitt for handling the criticism over her beach bod so lady-like and giving the media a much needed spanking. Not sure if she is a size 2, women across America need to stand by each other! Tonight, it's a ho ho, oh no! Melinda meets the ghost of Santa Claus... well, at least that's who this seasonal spirit claims he is. Gordon Clapp stars as a confused ghost who believes he is the Jolly Old Elf. Melinda's interest in him keeps her away from her family and friends as she abandons her own holiday plans to help the man remember who he really is and remind him of the true meaning of Christmas. Michael Reilly Burke and Dee Wallace also guest-star.
Men in Trees @ 8pm
James Tupper isn't in the cast tonight, but his character, Jack, isn't far from Marin's mind (and she doesn't even know about his ship sinking yet). So perhaps that's why she's less than hospitable to Cash when he asks to move back in with her. She'll come to regret it. And Jane will regret throwing away Sam's favorite shirt (she calls it "ratty") as she cleans house prior to their move to New York. Then there is Annie and Celia's situation with Patrick. They certainly regret that Patrick the amnesiac is so unlike the Patrick they knew and loved, but that doesn't make them peas in a pod.
Moonlight @ 9pm
Last time on Moonlight, the opening scene packed a big punch. I'm surprised and a little disappointed in Mick, considering the state of his undress, and clearly Beth is upset too. Upset enough to stab Morgan/Coraline through the heart with stake. Normally all that would do is paralyze her…Tonight, Mick hunts for an assassin hired to kill Josef and learns a secret Josef kept from him for more than 40 years. Mick also discovers the hit was put out by a dying man with a personal vendetta against Josef.

Men in Trees @ 10pm ET on ABC
There’s little calm in Elmo after last week’s stormy wedding. Marin begins to have unexpected feelings now that Jack is away studying whales in the Bering Sea, Patrick is still acting kooky, and Theresa is unhappy with Ben’s behavior since he bought the hockey team. Meanwhile, Mai helps Mary Alice get gussied up for her date with Jerome. You're in luck, "Trees" fans: Since the show started this season with leftover episodes from last season, the series still has another dozen new episodes to get it through the writers' strike.
Women's Murder Club @ 9pm ET on ABC
When the key witnesses in a murder case turn out to be illegal aliens, the women find themselves in the middle of an immigration battle. Meanwhile, Lindsay makes the awkward move of asking her ex-husband's new fiancée for help on the case...and she's glad she did. Just three more new episodes left for these crime-solving ladies. Whether or not the writers' strike will be settled before the show runs out of episodes remains a mystery not even these women can solve.
Fashionably Late with Stacy London @ 10pm on TLC
In the second episode of this new series, Stacy London (also the popular host of TLC’s “What Not to Wear”) surprises a member of the U.S. Coast Guard with a makeover to give the woman a more feminine look. Later, the gorgeous “Ugly Betty” star Rebecca Romijn visits the show and shares some juicy stories about her career and personal life.
