Born Melissa Warburg Rosenberg on January 20, 1968, in New York City, Melissa Joan Rivers is best known as the daughter of famed TV personality Joan Rivers.
Melissa initiated her career in the entertainment industry working as an in intern for CBS News before working the red carpet and interviewing celebrities in the early 90s, establishing herself as an up-and-rising Hollywood reporter.
Alongside her mother, Melissa's career was further propelled when the two starred in their popular TV specials Joan & Melissa: Live at the Emmys (2006), Emmy Awards Fashion Wrap with Joan and Melissa (2006), Joan & Melissa: Live at the Golden Globe Awards (2007), Golden Globes Fashion Wrap with Joan and Melissa (2007), Joan & Melissa: Live at the Academy Awards (2007) and their hit reality series Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best? (2011-2013).
Aside from being a TV personality, Melissa made her acting debut in the TV series Beverly Hills, 90210 (1991) followed by additional appearances in the made-for-TV movie Men in White (1998), the TV series Silk Stalkings (199), the comedy The Big Tease (1999), the straight-to-video horror flick Out of Blood (2004). She also appeared in the TV programs Dave the Barbarian (2004), The 411 (2005) and Cubed (2010).
In addition, she appeared as herself in the TV shows I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here (2003), The Apprentice (2009) and Project Runway (2013).

Melissa first met equestrian John Endicott at a Palm Springs horse show in 1993. After their first date, Melissa believed she had found the perfect man, revealing, "He was so sweet, so unaffected. It wasn't like, 'I'm an electrician, but really what I want to do is write a screenplay.' You can't get away from that in L.A."
She went on to say, "About four or five months after we met, he decided to move up to L.A. And the next thing we knew, we were living together. It just happened. It was the old, 'You can stay with me until you find your own place.' It was never found."
On December 12, 1998, the two got hitched in a $3 million ceremony at New York City's Plaza Hotel and went on to welcome their son Edgar Cooper Endicott (1 Dec. 2000) before getting a divorce in 2003.

Melissa first met porn king Steve Hirsch through mutual friends in December 2011, and began dating soon after. The two went strong for several months, but later parted ways in 2012 due to their hectic personal lives. According to sources, it was an amicable, mutual break-up and the two remain friends.
