If you were confused why so many football players were wearing pink on Sunday, no, it’s not a new NFL trend. It’s breast cancer awareness month, and it’s been celebrated every October for the past 20 years. The rising awareness of breast cancer has prompted more and more women to get checked earlier, saving thousands of lives each year.

Kathleen Sebeluis, Secretary of the US Department of Health and Human Services explained: "If 90 percent of women 40 and older received breast cancer screening, 3,700 lives would be saved each year."

This year alone, it’s estimated that more than 230,000 people will be diagnosed with the disease. Many celebs have been confronted with the disease and knocked it. To celebrate breast cancer awareness and give inspiration to the fight—we’re rounding up 7 celebs who have beat breast cancer.

Months after their public split, Melissa Etheridge and her ex Tammy Lynn Michaels are still at each other’s throats.

Tammy claims that Melissa left her completely broke and she doesn't even have enough money to feed their kids at this point.

"When I went to get cash just last week [to eat] ... not enough funds," she wrote on her website.

Melissa's lawyers claim "[Tammy Lynn Michaels] is being completely supported by Melissa and has been since they separated," but Tammy is arguing otherwise.

She claims Melissa only "Pays all the bills she chooses to pay [and] pays all the bills her people thinks are important enough to pay is more accurate."

Celebs become spoiled children when they split. It's like daddy taking away the allowance. Stop bashing each other and start making your kids your priority. If their kids really are starving Melissa needs to cough up the money, and Tammy needs to stop airing their dirty laundry! You both need therapy!
