Mel Gibson has gone from Hollywood heartthrob to anti-Semitic homophobe, but his brother, Andrew is defending the actor. Andrew Gibson, 43, says, "I've never heard anything anti-gay come out of his mouth."
Just to be clear, here are a few things that have come out of Mel Gibson's mouth:
"They take it up the ass. This is only for taking a sh-t."
"Do I sound like a homosexual? Do I talk like them? Do I move like them?"
When asked for an apology: " I’ll apologize when hell freezes over. They can f-ck off.”
Andrew continues: "When I heard them (the accusations) I just thought, 'That isn't Mel.' ... He has never said anything abusive, aggressive or racist in his life. ... I just had to turn the TV off and turn it to the wall for two weeks so I didn't have to listen. The rest of the family did the same."
Well no wonder this guy hasn't heard Mel Gibson say anything offensive, he's basically succumbed to living under a rock just to keep believing his brother is a saint.
Gibson's brother adds, "he never meant to upset anyone." Andrew, a homosexual himself, says that when he came out at 22, Mel was there for him, telling him: "It's not my choice, but I love you and you're my brother."
I mean, I appreciate this guy defending his brother, but come on. The fact that you know a gay person doesn't exonerate every terrible thing you've said about gays. If that were the case, I think Mel would become a homosexual Jew just so he can talk more sh-t about them.
