Sites like Gatecrasher, Asylum.com, AskMen.com, and others have decided enough is enough with the current obsession and they need to take a break.
AskMen.com’s Editor-in-Chief James Bassil tells The New York Daily News, “You can have too much of a good thing. We’re joining in the media blackout and giving our readers a one-day reprieve from the woman we’ve been drowning in all summer.”
Eric Rogell of TheBachelorGuy.com says, “Listen, we love Megan. She’s responsible for driving more eyeballs to our sites — just by getting photographed walking down the street in a white T-shirt — than any other celeb alive. It’s time to give another young actress a shot at the attention. We’re taking a one-day break from covering Megan’s latest nail polish color and instead promoting another ‘Next Big Thing.’”
We have to admit, Megan Fox definitely came out of nowhere to become a permanent fixture not only online, but on magazine covers as well. We can see why a 24-hour break could be a good thing.
The only question is…who will she be replaced by that day??
