Here we go with another statement from
Megan Fox! She spoke up today at the Hot Topic fan event in Hollywood, and addressed the reputation she’s recently developed for talking a little too much.
While signing autographs for fans, the Jennifer’s Body star told
People, "Ninety-eight percent of the things that come out of my mouth are intended to be harmless or even charming. They're not ever intended to be offensive or controversial."
In fact, Megan says she tries to do the opposite of be too open with herself in the media. She said, "It's just to get through it, I think, because you want to present and you want to be available to your fans, but you also don't want to give too much of yourself away, because people take advantage of that.
"It's learning the balance between giving the information that needs to be given, but then also protecting your privacy and your personal life, the things that you hold dear."
Jennifer’s Body screenwriter Diablo Cody assures us Megan is different than the way she’s been bashed in the press by the production staff of Transformers. Diablo said, "She is incredibly professional.”
Jennifer’s Body co-star Amanda Seyfried adds: "People will be surprised to know and it will be proven very shortly when people see this movie that she's a really talented actress."
Well, at least Megan has two fans! We can’t get a good read on her. It just seems every time she speaks, she has a case of verbal diarrhea. It may be because she’s so young, and wants to speak her mind, but it’s turning a lot of people off.
As for now, maybe Megan should just cool it a little on the so-frequent soundbytes.
