In true Amy Farrah Fowler fashion, Mayim Bialik hasn’t let a little car accident keep her from her work. The Big Bang Theory star was spotted heading to the set of the show this morning, just a day after a car accident that put her in the hospital.
Though the crash, which happened on Wednesday on Hollywood Boulevard when a car full of Chilean tourists hit Bialik’s car, left her with a badly injured right hand and left forearm, Mayim is doing much better. She was seen heading in to the studio this morning with her right hand in a hard cast and her left arm wrapped in gauze, but looking good otherwise.
"I will be continuing on The Big Bang Theory with no weeks off," she wrote (with her left hand) on her blog. "They are so good to me, and I love my job and the support I get from my buddies on the cast and our loving staff and crew."
The former Blossom kept up with concerned fans via Twitter and her blog after the crash, where she described the accident as “horrible” and said that she has all of her fingers but a “very impaired right hand.” She also said that she’d managed her pain without medication—just prayer and deep breathing, to which we can only say, “damn.”
To make us all feel better about Mayim’s brush with disaster, here’s her as Amy Farrah Fowler being crowned (and being uncharacteristically bubbly) by Sheldon and Penny.
