Wedding Day Details: Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves
And so begins the summer wedding season… It appears not even celebrities are immune to lady love’s tight grip.

If you haven’t heard, Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves tied the knot over the weekend. As you can imagine, it was quite an event…

Us Weekly has let all the details out of the bag for your reading pleasure.

Let’s start with the guest list, which had plenty of familiar names. Reese Witherspoon, Jim Toth, John Cougar Mellencamp, Meg Ryan, and the zombie-killing Woody Harrelson were all in attendance.

Completing the fairy tale ambiance of its A-list visitors was an equally fairy tale theme… Sort of…. Campgrounds!

And not just that, but high-end campgrounds. The tents that the stars slept in on the couple’s Texas property featured air-conditioning, gourmet goodies, and entertainment.

Vows were whispered into each other’s ears during the ceremony to keep all the mushy talk between the couple.

"No one knows what they said, but you could tell it was emotional because she was teary-eyed," a source told Us. "Matthew loves her, there's no doubt about that."

The event lasted for three days and featured a variety of activities and events. Mellencamp sang a bible verse that he morphed into a melody for the bride and groom. After the Saturday nuptials, guests partied all night long and into the next day.

Food provided was as high end as the faces eating it. For the reception, guests chowed down on food from Alves roots… rotisserie-style Brazilian meats and a variety of desserts (no wedding cake, though). On Sunday, they were treated to a Southern menu prepared by celeb chef Guy Fieri that included crawfish, brisket and fried okra. McConaughey has appeared on Fieri’s show “Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives.”

All in all, it was a low-key, yet chic affair. Now comes the hard part… “happily ever after.”
