Surfers Charged In Matthew McConaughey Fight

Matthew McConaughey might need to find some new "bros" to surf with, because they might not be too happy with him right now. Two men who had Matthew's back and ended up roughing up a photographer who was trying to get a shot of him have been charged with misdemeanor battery.

Matthew was surfing in Malibu back in June when the guys, who were probably also just trying to catch a wave, became annoyed with the dozens of paps surrounding the area.

A video obtained by TMZ shows at least 12 surfers closing in on the photogs, but only 24-year-old Skylar Peak and 30-year-old Philip Hidebrand are facing charges. Dude! All for Matthew McConaughey!! We hope he steps in and helps these guys out if they end up needing it. The two will be arraigned in October.
