Matthew McConaughey to Get Married in Brazil

About two weeks after announcing he had proposed to longtime girlfriend Camila Alves, Matthew McConaughey and Camila are already planning their wedding and we hear it’s going to be in Alves hometown in Brazil.

"Camila wants to get married in Brazil with her family all around. She misses the food and the people there, so she's planning a big beautiful Brazilian wedding," a source tells Life & Style.

I guess a big Brazilian wedding is her consolation price for waiting so long to get married. They've been together for 5 years and have two kids already, and according to the source, "She's been asking Matthew to put a ring on it forever. She's so happy. It's like a dream."

In McConaughey's defense, he may not have put a ring on it until just now, but he did buy her a house in Texas. Err, what?

McConaughey has previously stated how he bought Alves a house for them to live in together, so she could feel secure in their relationship. He also could have married her, but a house is basically the same thing, I guess.

"Before this, I had a super home in the Hollywood Hills that I did by myself - landscaping, detailing pretty much everything. But that house was mine. And yeah, we could have gone in there right away. Camila would have said, 'Fine, don't change a thing.' But I thought, I found the woman I wanna do it with, the woman I wanna make a family with, hopefully live our life out together."
