Mary-Louise Parker Heading To Broadway

Mary-Louise Parker is taking her act to the stage. She's just landed the lead role in a revival of Henrik Insen's famous play Hedda Gabler. She starts her run in New York in January 2009 when Weeds is on hiatus.

This isn't Parker's first time on the stage; she first appeared in Reckless in 2004, and even won a Tony for her performance in Proof. She does have some big shoes to fill in this role though.

The role was last played by Cate Blanchett at the Brooklyn Academy of Music in 2006.
