Mary Kate Olsen Hospitalized

Mary-Kate Olsen has been hospitalized with a kidney infection, People magazine reports.

She was admitted to a hospital in New York on Monday but her rep insists she is currently doing all right.

"Mary Kate got a kidney infection," says her rep. "She's resting comfortably and will be released in the next day or so."

kidney infection and hospitalized? I had one a few years ago - had pain for several days, went to doctor, was given a painkiller and antibiotics, told me to stay out of work for a few days and stay in bed. Case closed. NO hospital. How bad was this infection? It's pretty hard to ignore pain in the kidney ... what took her so long to get help?
