Just one day after taking his company, Facebook, public, Mark Zuckerberg finally married his longtime girlfriend Priscilla Chan. It’s about time. It’s only been nine years.
The super private couple invited friends over to “celebrate Chan’s graduation from Medical School,” but the guests got quite the surprise when they found out they were actually there for a wedding.
About a 100 friends and family members were invited to the wedding, which took place at Mark’s Palo Alto, California house. That’s a big as* backyard!
No word on what the bride wore but we do have details on her wedding ring, and it’s not exactly ‘I’m marrying a billionaire’ worthy. He reportedly gave her “a simple ruby sparkler’ which he designed himself. Not really surprised considering they both live in flip-flops and hoodies. They’re possibly the worlds most laid back, simple billionaires.
According to People magazine, “guests dined family-style on food from the couple's favorite restaurants, Palo Alto Sol and Fuki Sushi. For dessert, they had Burdick Chocolate "mice" – whimsical chocolate treats made in the shape of mice – which the couple had on their first date.”
Mark is officially worth over $19 billion dollars since his company went public on Friday. Congrats to the adorable, and very rich couple!
