Yesterday we posted a story about Oscar winner Marion Cotillard and the comments she had made about 9/11.

Naturally, her comments have pissed off a lot of people so her “people” are doing some major damage control today.

Her lawyer is saying that her comments were "taken out of context."

In a statement released today her lawyer said, "Marion never intended to contest nor question the attacks of September 11, 2001, and regrets the way old remarks have been taken...

Recent Oscar winner Marion Cotillard has pissed off a lot of people after questioning the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

"I think they lied about a number of things," Cotillard says of the September 11 attacks.

"We see other towers of the same kind being hit by planes, are they burned? There was a tower, I believe it was in Spain, which burned for 24 hours.

"It never collapsed. None of these towers collapsed. And there [New York], in a few minutes, the whole thing...
