Last night Hollyscoop caught up with Mario at the "Maxim’s Hot 100" party in Los Angeles and we asked Mario to clear the air.
Mario said, “We're definitely not couple, I am single…she’s a very beautiful woman, has a really nice personality…great dancer, great to be with."
When asked if he would consider dating his dancing partner he said, “Honestly if I was ready to be in a relationship right now, it could happen.”
Despite the fact that he was at a party honoring some of the most beautiful people in the world, Mario said he wouldn't date any of 'those types' of women. So what's he looking for in a girl? “Confidence! A girl who has her own style…creativity is sexy to me.”

Mario on the Karina hookup rumors:
"The rumors aren't true. I'm a single man."
Mario on the championships and whether he would take home the Dancing trophy:
“I am fighting for it. hopefully we will make it to the finals, and then we will see from there...that’s when the real war stars.”
Mario on the competition:
“Everybody, obviously Kristi Yamaguchi is amazing. So Kristi is definitely my number one competition.”
Mario definitely has the moves and the chemistry between him and his dancer always heats up the dance floor. We’re pretty sure he will make it to the finals, but to go against Kristy is definitely going to be tough.
