Nick Cannon is putting baby rumors to rest once and for all. If every pregnancy story surrounding
Mariah Carey was true, she would have a half dozen kids by now.
Hoping to give the rumors a rest, Nick told
Extra, "I think what it is, the public really wants us to have kids. We're going to do it and when we do it we're going to let you all know. But right now, we're trying to enjoy the newlywed aspect."
The couple fueled reports recently when they were photographed leaving a fertility clinic in Beverly Hills, but Nick swears they weren't visiting for that reason.
"We were walking out of the office where Will Smith's office is." Nick was surprised when the media reported the couple leaving a clinic and he joked, "Unless Will Smith is delivering babies on the low..."
We'll give it to the couple, everyone thought they would call it quits after a few months and they're about to celebrate their one-year anniversary. Sure, one-year isn't all that long for regular folks, but it's a decade in celebrity land.
