I'm convinced that Mariah Carey has some screws loose up there. The singer just recently showed up for a studio session in a ballroom gown. No joke!
Carey is collaborating with 'Black Eyed Peas' singer will.i.am for her next album and she figured it would be a good idea to show up looking like Tinkerbell from 'Peter Pan' because she didn't "have time to change."
will.i.am explained, "Mariah was cool. She came into the studio wearing a big ball gown.
"She was like, `I'm so sorry! I know everybody thinks I'm a diva, but I'm wearing this because I've just come from a party and I didn't want to go home and change.' "She's a real diva in her own right, but she is real cool."
She may be infamous for her Diva behavior but will.i.am isn't having any of it. He added, "I remind them not to take themselves so seriously: `When you come into the studio, leave the bodyguards in the f**king lobby. Why bring them into the studio? Is the mike going to choke you? Relax".
