Mariah Carey Waited for Her Wedding Night

Mariah Carey told the UK Daily Mirror that she made the decision to wait until her wedding night to have sex with Nick Cannon. She never claimed to be a virgin, (how could she when she was married for 5 years to Tommy Mottola?) but Mariah did say that this time around, she felt it was important to be patient and wait.

"It's not that we had no intimacy, we just didn't have complete intimacy. It's just me, and my feelings," she told the paper.

What did she say was behind her decision to hold off? "We both have similar beliefs, and I just thought that it would be so much more special if we waited until after we were married. And it was, and it still is," she said.

They only knew each other all of two months before jetting off to the sunny Bahamas to tie the knot. Is that why Mariah, 38, and Nick, 28, were in such a hurry to head down that aisle and become husband and wife? It all makes sense to us now.
