Mariah Carey will turn the lights of New York City's Empire State Building lavender, pink and white this weekend.
The city is honoring the native New Yorker by lighting up the Empire State building with her favorite colors in honor of her album E=MC2 topping the billboard charts. She'll flick the switch to light the building as soon as the sun goes down tonight.
Mimi also treated New Yorkers to a free live concert this morning on 'Good Morning America.' The backup track started before she did and she
adlibbed under it but picked it up shortly after. Check out the performance here:
