Mariah Carey Defines Vanity

Mariah Carey has always been very fond of her looks, she kind of reminds us of the “Old Paris”. The songstress took the stage last night to perform at Disneyland Paris where over 5,000 people showed up. The event benefited the Elton John's AIDS Foundation, but unfortunately for Mariah it wasn’t smooth sailing.

During her performance, it started to rain but being the professional she is, Mariah went on with the show. She didn’t care if her make-up dripped or her hair started to frizz. Now that's a real performer!

This kind of behavior is very un-Mariahish. Mariah can’t walk into a studio to record an album without a glam squad. Mariah recently entered Baseline Studio in Chelsea to record her next album at midnight the other day "dressed to the nines."

Mariah even stopped before entering to powder her nose and apply lip gloss "from a glowing tube." Carey was spotted getting into her black Bentley several hours later "with her driver and security guard." That’s the true life of a real D-I-V-A. On a side note, it's good to hear she’s working on a new album, its long overdue.

O MY G** bull like this gets on my NERVES!!! The woman's on a STAGE, she can use whatever props she damn well pleases! Furthermore; whilst you're spreading your biased nonsense about the attire she chooses to record in, did it occur to you check if, where & what event she might have been coming from before spreading your meanspirited gossip? I know of MANY occasions where Mariah's gone from an event straight to the studio; I also knoe of MANY more occasions - on film - when she has gone to record in a wifebeater-tee, shorts & sandals. Are those incidences considered the "definition of vanity" also? Even if it were; who exactly are YOU or anyone else to criticise that? In the spirit of helping you do the research you didn't bother with for fear of proving yourself little more than a poison pen - try hard as you can to learn / consider the following: 1) Mariah Carey is more of a CARING PROFESSIONAL than 100x of you will EVER be. It wouldn't take you but 5 minutes to find out if you had a conscience when it comes to bullying. 2) The "Glowing Tube" you refer to is one of the items from Mariah's own line of official merchandise. If applying lip gloss inside of a building, apparently out of eyesight according to your own 'account', is a sign of shameless, wanton vanity, then there are a fair few million women worldwide you are tarring with the same narcissistic brush. Furthermore, if you are going to start attacking the ALLEGED methods & means by which an artist makes themselves comfortable before getting into 'studio persona', then I think you'll find you'll have a heck of alot more women to add to that list of "true D.I.V.A.S" than Mariah Carey, mate. Case closed.

I dont even know what the above poster is so annoyed about. I dont even think that was a negative review at all. Im a huge Mariah fan and absoluetly love her simply because she is a real DIVA! Anyone whos met her will know, she doesnt pretend to be the way she is, it comes naturally!
