The music superstars, who wed in a surprise ceremony in Bahamas in 2008, celebrate their fourth wedding anniversary today and the first birthday of their twins, Moroccan Scott and Monroe.
Every year on their anniversary, Nick and Mariah renew their vows and this year was no different. The pair jetted off to Paris on Friday and renewed their vows atop the Eiffel Tower.
"Tonight was an incredible night," the singer Tweeted. "I can't express how amazing it was to renew our vows in Paris at the top of the Eiffel tower."
Mariah, 43, looked stunning in a white mermaid dress with a black bow while Nick, 31, donned a white suit and black tie for the occasion.
Afterwards, the couple dined at the acclaimed Le Jules Verne restaurant, overlooking the City of Lights.
According to People magazine, Mariah was also seen shopping for the twins at Baby Dior and at the Louis-Vuitton flagship store on the Champs-Elysees.
Nick, who has been battling health issues, had a crush on Mariah for as long as he can remember but it wasn't until he presented her with an award at the 2005 Kid's Choice Awards that he decided to act on it. "I was so nervous but decided to take my chances and give her a kiss on the cheek! I had to have that kiss," says Nick.
That kiss is what got the ball rolling but Nick says it's what they've given to each other every day since that keeps the relationship strong and you can't take it for granted.
"Nobody can predict the future. You just have to give your all to the relationship you're in and do your best to take care of your partner, communicate and give them every last drop of love you have."
"I think one of the most important things in a relationship is caring for your significant other through good times and bad."
The couple's love was put to the test earlier this year when the "America's Got Talent" host was hospitalized for blood clots in his lungs. He credits his "forever love" as to what helped him get through it. What's a "forever love," you ask?
"To me a forever love is a bond that can't be broken. It's like my love for "dembabies" and Mariah. You go through difficult times, but as long as you hand on to the beautiful things, it's great - even when it's rough, it's real."
Mariah, described by Nick as a "beautiful and talented person," created the fragrance "Forever" which was inspired by her husband and a dedication to the couple's love for one another. Nick couldn't be more flattered by the "We Belong Together" singer's gesture of love.
"It's incredible. Who could really imagine somebody dedicating a fragrance to your love? I'm pretty much in awe. I've learned a lot watching Mariah create such fragrances," says Nick.
Well Mariah, if things ever start to feel stale in the relationship, just throw on something sexy and some of your "Forever" fragrance because apparently, Nick can't get enough of it.
"Every time Mariah wears 'Forever,' it takes me back to the passion and excitement of when we first fell in love," he says.
