Mariah Bares All To Sell Perfume

Since the previous ad for Mariah Carey’s perfume was a fake, maybe this one is the real one. Carey launched a new perfume line and we’ve all been waiting to see what the magnificently photoshopped ad is gonna look like.

This is said to be the new ad and surprisingly it doesn’t look to photoshopped and she’s not wearing too much make up. Mimi is doing the natural thing and it looks pretty good.

The bottle however looks a lot like the Cartier bottle on the Cartier’s is in red.

it's photoshopped around her waist. she doesn't have that big or round of a tush....but i think it's a nice ad and she looks pretty.

To all those who bring up photoshop: that's what the industry is based on, people! I have to go with Jane on this one. There is no such thing as perfect, otherwise so many average looking people would not be superstars, only the perfect would. On a different note, I can't stand this lady. The only thing she is good at is singing (which is why, I suppose, she is a singer) - she can't pose to save her life and she's a terrible dancer. The ad is pretty "Mariah" though, no big surprise. It's so predictable.

I really wish people weren't so sensative about photoshopping. Please remember that this is an advertisement. Every promotional photo that celebrities take are advertisements, and ALL ads (including those not featuring people) are tweaked and enhanced to make the product look its absolute best. I think this perfume ad is beautifully done, and it's a shame that people rather focus on degrading Mariah for hatred and envy's sake instead of enjoying the essence that this ad portrays.
