Mariah Carey just coughed up $125K to rent a mansion in the Hamptons so her and new hubby Nick Cannon can "chill out" and possibly have another wedding.

NY Post is reporting that Mimi rented out a 10 bedroom, 18,000 square-foot, 8-acre spread in Stone Meadow Farm so that guests that bought her a present through Bergdorf Goodman registry "can finally toast the couple."

Life must be good for Nick Cannon, aka the new K-Fed. All he does is go around and shop for presents for his new wifey--on her credit card. What does he do for a living again?
