Mandy Moore And Ryan Adams Split

Mandy Moore has reportedly split from her eccentric-looking boyfriend Ryan Adams. A rep for Adams blames their breakup on the media spotlight, saying that it was too much for him to hamdle. And Mandy's barely ever in the spotlight!

Adams tells Ok! Magazine, "Mandy is one of those genuinely sweet angelic people you wish to meet your whole life. I am grateful for our friendship and how it allowed us both to grow and learn more. Unfortunately I am allergic to paparazzi and have found the best antidote to that sort of nonsense is staying behind the guitar and typewriter, staying close to my support group of friends and band mates and not engaging in activities that prevent me from taking care of myself or others. I found the entire speculation and subsequent photographs and intrusions terrifying and only wish to live as normal a life as possible, so that I might always remain punk as f*** AND sober."

Wow! He does have a point! It's a shame Mandy had to be on the receiving end though. But we're sure she'll bounce back as she always does!

Wow, Mandy sure is racking up a lot of men that she has been with for a sweet and good girl. And as time goes on, her relationships get shorter and shorter, and she ends up being with more and more men. By the time she is thirty, she is going to be a real slut. I just don't buy the good girl story about her anymore. She seems to be just like all the rest of them in the industry. What a shame, since I used to really believe in her so much.

I have to agree with Thomas above. I used to also think Mandy was different from the rest of the celebs. That she had class and was not a bed jumper. But now I think she is just trying to find guys to go with that will enhance her career, instead of finding love. She is going to end up very lonely when she gets older. I guess she is far more shallow then I thought she was some years ago. Guess she will start stripping next or doing other crazy stuff to "enhance" her career. I used to be such a fan of hers since I was under the impression she was a good girl. But now...

Oh my goodness! How does it make her a slut or any less of a "good girl" just because her relationships aren't working out? Most twenty-somethings have trouble finding that special someone and I hardly see how it reflects poorly on her. It's not like she is sleeping with a new guy each night, and even if she were she's young. Let her have fun!

Sounds like YOU are a true slut Tiffany. That is why you justify sleeping around as if it is just fine, since that is what you do. With all the STD's out there and all the crazy people, that is reason enough to "not" sleep around. And being at a certain age or age group is not an excuse to be a slut. And yes, sleeping around with different guys every night, as you put it, is what a SLUT is. You should seriously take a look at your life, and get a clue!

Oh right, sleeping around with a different guy every night is "fun". So let me get this stright Tiffany, if a woman lets a lot of men use her for sex, even a defferent one every night, then she can just count this up to having fun? I personaly don't think Mandy is a slut since she has long relationships most of the time. But your statement of "even if she were - having sex with a new guy every night - she's young. let her have fun, is a really dumb statement. As a woman myself, to have a "new guy" on top of me every night is gross and is simply letting yourself be a walking mat for men, which is sickening. But finding a guy who really does care and is a good man IS what make life special. I suggest you find one of those kind of guys so you can be happy yourself some day.

Mandy is NOT a slut, but if she does not watch it, she will inadvertantly turn in to one. Some of her boyfreinds are not good enought for her and she needs to be more careful about who she picks to let in to her life. She is a great girl and needs a great man for herself. She needs to check out the person she is interested in for a while before she lets him in. I love how she has stood strong to her ideals and ethical standards and not let herself go like the crazy ones out there (Britney, Christina, Lohan etc.). I hope she finds a great guy before she goes through to many guys. Stay strong Mandy, I love you and believe in you sweetie.

Im sure if the cameras were in focus (or "out of focus" would be a better way to look at it) on my life and reltionships people would think that I was a slut also. We should all take a closer look at ourselves before we start to judge others and believe everything that we hear or read as fact. Keep up the good work & positive outlook Miss Moore!
