File this one under 'odd couple news.' While doing her promotional rounds in New York City for her new movie "Dedication," Mandy Moore found some time for rebound hottie John Mayer.

The two were spotted having lunch in SoHo yesterday. Ya, ya I know what you guys are going to say, 'maybe they're just friends' but I think they're totally hooking up.

Update: Mandy Moore says there's no truth to the rumors. “Oh my goodness. John and I have been friends for years, no romance.”
