When asked if he would be returning to DWTS next season, Kirstie Alley’s Pro dance partner, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, replied “I don't know," he shared.
"It takes a lot out of you. When you invest that much of you into something that's supposed to be just work you [can] get misinterpreted. I don't know [if I'm coming back]. We'll see. Right now, I'm drained.”
There are going to be some really upset Midwestern soccer moms if this is true.
Though it isn’t confirmed, Maksim’s comments suggest he might not return.
Are these comments a result of Kirstie Alley not winning? Or is he going to try and follow in Julianne Hough’s footsteps and dance his way onto the silverscreen? Perhaps he can go on to host The Biggest Loser? I mean, look what he did for Kirstie Alley’s body. Too soon?
The Ukrainian dance stud has many options.
Kirstie Alley thinks he has all the perfect qualities to be a great actor. “He's handsome, he's got a good voice and he's funny. He could be a really great actor if he wanted to act." He also looks kind of like Gerard Butler, plus he can dance. If there’s ever a movie musical version of “300,” he’s in.
Maksim currently is one of the co-owners of Dance with Me Studios, an east coast based dance studio. He already has plans to open up a location in LA, “We're finalizing the deal [for the Los Angeles location] and it's going to be an amazing gorgeous place." I can’t wait, I’m sure there are lots of fans that would love to go there to
stalk him dance.
