Maksim Chmerkovskiy Lashes Out On Derek Hough
Maksim Chmerkovskiy has really been a loose cannon this week. On Monday night, Chmerkovskiy got into it with the judges, bucking up to Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli. The dancer suggested Goodman retire his career. Derek Hough sided with the judges, saying they're fair.

So in an interview with Robin Roberts on Good Morning America, Chmerkovskiy slammed his dancing pro costar.

“Derek Hough has been very supportive of his personal career on the show,” Maksim said. "When you say judges have been generous, with all due respect, if I had Nicole Scherzinger followed by Jennifer Grey followed by Ricki Lake, I probably would not be very upset with the judges either."

Finally, some passive-aggressive fighting on this show! If people liked it before, they’re going to love it even more if there’s some Real Housewives-esque drama.

Maksim is currently paired with World Cup goalie Hope Solo, who has consistently been scoring low on the show. Before that, he was teamed up with Kirstie Alley, and while Kirstie held her own on the show, Maksim couldn't. The pair had a nasty fumble mid-way through the season.

"I had a long conversation with my dad and I don't regret anything," Maksim continued on Good Morning America. "That's why I think I'm misunderstood in this situation. Everyone is waiting for me to bow my head and plead for forgiveness. I have nothing to apologize for. I'm in the business because I love it. I can't really lose with remarks like this."

On Monday night’s show, after Chaz Bono gave a lackluster performance, Goodman compared him to a penguin. Probably one of the worst animals anyone could ever compare you to.

“One thing I'm not going to embrace is pointing fingers and disrespectful remarks," Maksim explained. "Why are judges allowed to compare us to animals and point their fingers and we can't say we're work and show our opinion?"

While Maksim went all out in his GMA interview, he appeared to have a change of heart later on. He told Us Weekly:

“I love the show, and am very lucky to have this second family."

The star added: “I am looking forward to next week's dances and focusing on that with Hope at this time. I want to also thank our fans for being loyal and supportive."
