Garcelle Beauvais On The Cover Of Jet With Her Twins

The world has been so busy obsessing over J. Lo's twins and Nicole Richie and Christina Aguilera babies, that no one noticed the little cuties Garcelle Beauvais popped out.

She's on the cover of Jet magazine this week with her twin boys Jaid Thomas and Jax Joseph who were born in October. Inside, Garcelle talks about being a mom and staying sexy. She is definitely qualified to give out advice on that subject.

I am half black and mexican, my husband is full black and our son came out looking white with red-brown hair. He will probably get darker in months to come as I look at the color of his cuticles. Still... come on people! This is 2008, we should know that there is no such thing as racial purity. Almost every African American can find a white ancestor and if you're white and can only go so far back into your family tree before everyone "disappears"- you probably have a "black" ancestor who passed for "white" (like these cute little boys can) and disowned there black family.

Eddie, how insensitive and ignorant can you be? Garcelle has been married to her husband for seven years. And while you are talking about black women, maybe you should check up on history a bit. It has been black women who have consistently stuck by the black men for years, and only recently started marrying outside of their race. I think you have it wrong, black men have been the ones having babies with white women. It is wrong to be with someone you genuinely love without fear that bigots like yourself would think black women are only with white men because of their race? You need to get a grip on reality.

The babies look white and they are BIRACIAL with a capital B being the beautiful combination of their white father and their black mother. They are not black. Garcelle has a beautiful peaceful expression and guaranteed they will continue to look good in their light-skinned state. Handsome little boys just like their daddy! Who has wonderful taste in women.(smile) Oh, am I also glad that a black magazine is featuring sistas with their light-skinned biracial babies. That's real progress right there.

Oh that black chick is only doing the fad now, with black women, which is to strive to have white babies with "good hair". lol Its all black chicks ever dreamed of, so now it's the trend in dating. Glad to see that on a 'black' magazine cover- yay white babies. LMAO!

The babies may look white but they are Black, cause their mother is Black. So what if they are devoid of color. The only problem I have is she has a dumb look on her face like "see my colorless babies." Guaranteed, they will look better as they get older and darker.!

Dumb people make me sick! Flat out black people come in all sorts of shades, doesn't matter if you're mixed or not... You could have two darker skinned parents and end up being lighter than both of them or vice versa. You can't tell what genes are going to be pulled from where.

@ K... The genes play the part when the baby develops in the womb... So who eva parent dominates the genes will result to the baby becoming light skinned, dark skinned, fair skinned etc. So in this case Garcelles twins happen to dominate more of the fathers'genes. That's what happened to me I look more asian than black as both my parents are african. Genes are wiered sometimes.... Gorgeous babies tho!!!

I'm confused too. The one baby looks almost pale. Even if her husband is white, you'd think the babies would pick up some of her features or DNA. Don't get me wrong, I think they're very cute kids. I just am a little stumped. I've only known one bi racial couple and he is white and she is black. Their two kids are black but with very fine features. Oh well, I guess we'll never solve this mystery.
