last week Madonna’s adoption is not complete yet. Madonna has yet to make her last appearance before the adoption can be complete. Unfortunately for her though, there are civil rights lawyers in Malawi are fighting really hard to stop her adoption from being legalized.
They apparently fear that if
Madonna’s adoption becomes legal, it’s gonna cause Westerners to come to their country and adopt more kids. Ummm, isn’t that a good thing?
Everything Madonna does has to cause some sort of controversy. Why doesn’t anyone ever stop Angelina Jolie when she adopts? In any case, the civil rights lawyers might be SOL because Malawian officials deemed Madonna an awesome parent.
Lawyer Justin Dzonzi says, "We have a number of preliminary issues which need to be resolved before the adoption can go ahead."?
Who wouldn’t want to be adopted by Madonna?
