PETA VS. Madonna

Madonna

Madonna is the latest celebrity to be attacked by animal rights group People For The Ethical Treatment Of Animals (PETA). The pop star became a target for PETA after she was photographed wearing a fur coat in London last night.

Madonna was having dinner with husband Guy Ritchie wearing an $80 000 chinchilla coat.

PETA spokesperson says, "Wearing a coat made of dozens of animals who were strangled or anally electrocuted got Madonna the attention she so desperately craves, but it also brought painful deaths to small, gentle animals who died for her vanity. It can take between 30 and 200 chinchillas to make just one coat."

who cares?? let her wear her coat. it's not hurting any of you. ppl have worn fur (past & present), to keep warm (i.e native amer, tribal groups). i don't see peta screaming at them--they are celeb whores too.

until i see ppl snatching pets out of yards and skinning them for fur, i really don't care. these are animals that will prob get ravished by some bigger animal, so why not.

and i DON'T LIKE wearing real fur, it's just there are more issues in this world to get upset about (i.e. genocide in darfur, iraq, gaza, etc)

and maybe u should go check out some videos of ppl snatching animals (not from yards but from fur farms) and skinning them.. and another thing are u trying to say that in this day and age there is no other form of "keeping warm" than to wear fur?? your ridiculous
