No one ever said working for
Madonna would be easy, and one nanny just learned that lesson the hard way.
A nanny, known only as Angela, that was hired to look after Madonna's adopted son David has quit because she just can't handle working for the Material Girl anymore.
She resigned earlier this month but wasn't allowed to fulfill her notice period because Madonna was furious over the fact that someone would quit working for her.
A source tells British newspaper the Mail, "Angela is distraught. Madonna told her the news two hours before she was due to go on her annual month-long leave. Angela was incredibly upset and very surprised.
The rumor is that Madonna was furious that Angela was leaving and dismissed her before she had the chance to complete her full notice. No one knows how she will cope without a nanny. She depends on her staff very heavily."
A spokesman for Madonna adds, "I do not comment on household issues but I can assure you that David and Madonna’s other two children are very well taken care of at all times."
When you're mother is worth a gazillion dollars, we'd only expect her children to be "very well taken care of," but getting used to new nanny's all the time could be annoying too.
And why is Angela "distraught" when she was the one who quit? What do you expect when you resign?! Bet she sold this story to the Mail to make up for the severance package she clearly didn't get.
