Madonna\'s Lawyer Confirms Adoption Plans
Here we go again! Madonna adoption madness Part II is officially underway.

If you guys recall Madonna found herself in the center of a lot of controversy when she adopted baby David Banda from Malawi back in 2006. And now she's set to do it all over again.

Madonna's attorney Alan Chinula just confirmed that the Queen of Pop wants to adopt another child from Malawi. He said, "We are expected to be in court on Monday to file papers for a possible adoption."

Madonna is reportedly looking to adopt four-year-old Mercy James from the country. The adopted girl would join Madonna's sons Rocco and David and daughter Lourdes.

Unfortunately for Madge, it looks like she's going to have to really fight for Mercy. Malawi officials aren't impressed with her current lifestyle and it may affect her chances of adopting.

"Our official policy is that we do not encourage our children to be sent into broken homes," a senior official from Malawi's Ministry of Women and Child Welfare Development said when speaking about Madonna's adoption. "Her relationships may negatively affect the adoption of Mercy."

Say what you will about Madonna's personal relationships, but at the end of the day she's a damn good mom. She's giving David a life other children could only dream about, and if she's willing to do the same for Mercy, then we're all for it!
