"A private jet flew in from South Africa and collected her at five minutes to six last evening," an airport source tells People.
"She connected to London from Johannesburg at 10:30 p.m."
A nanny, a child nurse and a third assistant reportedly accompanied little Mercy James on the flight.
After months of appeals, the high court in Malawi finally approved Madonna's adoption on June 12th.
"It's the wee hours of morning in New York, but she is excited at the news," Madonna's lawyer Alan Chinula said when the adoption was approved. "As her lawyer, I am happy that this has settled this contentious issue."
We can't wait to see photos of little Mercy joining her new brothers and sisters. Hope she's ready for the cameras!
