Madonna's Daughter Lourdes Leon Shaves Her Head

Following in the footsteps of Willow Smith, Madonna's daughter, Lourdes Leon has shaved her head this week. Well, half her head. She's got that long on top/bald on bottom Ke$ha look going on.

The 15 year-old stepped out for school in New York on Thursday, showing off her edgy new 'do by wearing her hair up in a bun. And when you shaving your head is headline news, you know you've made it.

Like any teenager, this isn't the first time Lourdes has wanted to make a drastic change to her hair.

In December of 2010, she wrote on her blog: “I want royal blue hair but not a streak, like my entire head.”

Do it now, sister. Because if you don't, you'll just keep wanting to, as you get older and your thirtieth birthday looms. And the older you get, the sadder the idea becomes. Not speaking from personal experience or anything.

At the time, Lourdes said mom Madonna didn't approve of the dye job.

“I read this blog aloud to my mother,” Lourdes continued. “and she is sitting her staring at me with no expression on her face, as if she doesn't approve of it!”

Come on, Madonna. You wore a cone bra and hit on David Letterman. Let other people have a little fun.

Meanwhile, 11 year-old Willow Smith also debuted a shaved head this week. She Tweeted photos of her new non-hairdo, making us all wonder just how she plans to whip it back and forth now. Smith reportedly chose to go bold in honor of her friend, Hayley Okines, who suffers from Progeria-a rare genetic disorder that causes rapid aging and hair loss in children.
