Madonna to Perform Song and Dance Tribute to Michael Jackson

Madonna is adding a little something special to her concert in London on Saturday. The Material Girl will be playing at London’s O2 Arena on July 4th, which is the venue Michael Jackson was supposed to play through the summer.

According to her rep Lis Rosenberg, as a tribute, she’s decided to perform a song-and-dance tribute to Michael.

As you may recall, Madge and Michael were close friends, and even attended the Academy Awards together in 1991. Upon hearing of Michael’s death last week, Madonna released a statement saying, “I can’t stop crying over the sad news. I have always admired Michael Jackson… The world has lost one of the greats, but his music will live on forever!… My heart goes out to his three children and other members of his family… God bless.”

Madge always blows us away on stage so we know she has a great performance up her sleeve to dedicate to the King of Pop!
