Madonna is headed back to Malawi this Sunday on behalf of her charity
Raising Malawi to lay the foundation stone of a $15 million dollar all girls school she's building there.
"She plans to meet the President Bingu wa Mutharika and together lay a foundation stone for her multi-million dollar girls school," a staffer at the charity, who declined to be named, told the
New York Daily News Thursday.
There’s no word if her adopted children David Banda and Mercy James, will be joining her for the trip yet, but Madonna rarely travels alone.
Two years ago Oprah made headlines when she opened two schools in South Africa: the $1.6 million Seven Fountains Primary School and the $40 million Leadership Academy for Girls. Unfortunately her school was hit with a sex abuse scandal back in 2007. Hopefully Madge will have better luck.
