Madonna Settles Divorce

If you were waiting for a nasty public divorce from Madonna and Guy Ritchie, you're going to be terribly disappointed.

According to reports, the Material Girl has already settled her divorce and will reportedly give Ritchie $60 million, a London pub and the family's country estate to put a speedy end to their seven-year marriage.

According to the UK Sun, Madonna will hold on to her New York and Los Angeles homes, as part of the divorce settlement.

A source said, "The negotiations were relatively painless. Guy knew what he wanted and Madonna knew what she was keen to keep. There was a spell when Guy was in a mood to dig his heels in, but he decided this arrangement seemed reasonable and a long battle over money would make life unbearable."

Fortunately for Madge, $60 million is chump change. She made double that just this summer alone while touring in the UK.

Update: Despite reports that Madonna and Guy Richie had already reached a divorce settlement, Madge’s publicist is denying it. Liz Rosenberg says no settlement has been reached yet. She tells the Associated Press, "I will not be commenting on the various reports regarding the divorce or of the settlement, which has not been finalized.”
