Madonna Responds To Elton John's R-Rated Comments

Elton John made some pretty scathing comments on Monday about the supposed Queen of Pop, Madonna.

Some quick backstory before we continue: Madonna has previously called Lady Gaga a copy-cat artist, we all know this, and since Elton John and Gaga are besties he has to stand up for her, right?

Well, Elton took it one step further telling a reporter over the weekend all about how he can’t stand Madonna.

“Why is she such a nightmare? Sorry, her career is over. Her tour has been a disaster and it couldn’t happen to a bigger c-nt,” says Elton.

Wow, the c-word? That’s pretty harsh. But he also called her a “fairground stripper” and I’m not going to disagree with him.

Anyway, here’s what Madonna has to say about it. Well, here’s what a friend of Madonna told Huffington Post about it.

“Ultimately, she doesn’t care what he has to say about her in public or private,” says the Madonna insider, “She has nothing to prove to anyone, especially Elton John.”

The source continues, “To say her tour is a disaster is just silly. She is selling out arenas.”

Yeah, well, she also got kicked out of France for thinking swastikas are fun, so yeah, disaster wouldn’t be far off.

The Madonna source continues, “[She’s] singing new material and a few classic hits. [Elton] will be singing the same old songs until he dies.”

Yeah, but, old Elton John songs are far better than any new “material” by Madonna.

In 50 years will we remember “Candle in the Wind” or “Give Me All Your Luvin'?” I rest my case.
