Madonna Gets Denied Adoption...Again

Madonna doesn't take 'No' for an answer, even if it involves buying your baby. Madge has renewed an attempt to adopt a two-year old girl from Malawi, despite the fact that her family doesn't want to give her up for adoption.

The child's grandmother, Anaphiri Ngalande, says, "When Mercy is no longer a baby we want her back. I don't want the money they said they'd give me."

It's the second time in the past year that Madonna's has tried to adopt her. Last time the little girls uncle John shot down the request and now it's the grandmother. Some things just can't be bought Madge!

Rich people have always adopted kids and the fact she is Madonna shouldnt be a deterrent for doing so. Kids adopted by celebrities at least are more under control in comparison to kids adopted by just any other rich family.

Madonna thinks she can buy herself a child and that adoptees are just commodities. New flash, she's not an orphan if she has family taking care of her. Adopting children doesn't even come close to the comparion of helping children in need. Adoption isn't a humanitarian service, its a selfish fixation of motherhood. If she was doing it to "help" kids then she wouldn't be taking them from their country and calling them hers. She'd be providing for them and their families to live better in their own country.

Yeah, as if American and Malawian orphan poverty is even on the same level. I'm not discounting the fact that there are poor people and children in need in America, but it pales in comparison to that of Africa. Orphaned American young children are very desirable for many more people and will be adopted. The majority of these African orphans will die, many of AIDS. Period. That's after living in an orphanage that's no more than a dirt-floor shack. If Madonna is able to adopt any more children from Malawi then it's only a good thing. I wish I could ten of them. People should find out about the situation.

Yeah, we know she lives like a Brit, however she is an American. She should adopt American kids who need homes. I can't figure out why she wants to do this, since they don't really raise these kids anyway. Just keep the kids wallets full.

Oh please! Every 3 months english tabloids report that Madonna want to adotp Mercy or Jessica etc etc..... Madonna now is building a school for girls in Malawi but english tabloids only want to put her in a bad light, so everytime Madonna does something good they invent this lies to put her down. Last time, she went in Malawi with David and Lourdes to folllow the building of a children care centre, but tabloids avoided to tell this and they insisted she went to adopt Mercy.
