Madonna continues to try to incite controversy on her MDNA tour and she's pulling out all the stops. On Thursday night in Istanbul in pop diva style -- Madge whipped out her boob.
During a performance of "Human Nature," following a pseudo Gwen Stefani dance sequence, the 53-year-old singer removed her bra strap, then put it back in lieu of just pulling down the bra cup and showing the whole thing.
She gave a “what are you going to do about it” nod/head tilt/sort of smirk thing and walked off like she’d got away with something, revealing a block letter temp tattoo on her back that read “No Fear.”
Though the crowd seemed to enjoy the nipple reveal, let’s be honest, we’ve all seen this woman’s naughty bits before. Multiple times, in multiple forms of media.
This is the latest in a stream of please-notice-me-pretty-please incidents on Madonna's tour which launched May 31 in Tel Aviv, Israel. During that performance, the singer wrapped herself in an Israeli flag to protest something, showed a pic of a French National Front leader Marine Le Pen with a swastika imprinted on her forehead resulting in threat of legal action from the politician, and most notably took on Lady Gaga in a depressing dance medley where she was desperate to reiterate that she did it first.
The whole stunt is kind of indicative of the entire premise of her tour. It’s what I like to call, the Taco Bell syndrome -- the same 5 ingredients ever so slightly rearranged and then marketed as something TOTALLY NEW AND EXCITING!
