Madonna Ambassador for Judaism

Just last week pop queen Madonna and her hubby Guy Ritchie rang in the Jewish new year with fellow stars Demi Moore, Ashton Kutcher, Rosie O'Donnell, designer Donna Karan and Israeli President Shimon Peres. During the Jewish new year Madonna reportedly declared herself an "ambassador for Judaism."

Madonna arrived in Israel on Wednesday, just in time to attend a conference on Kabbalah. On Saturday Madge went to Peres Jerusalem residence and the two exchanged gifts. Peres gave the Material Girl a 'lavishly bound copy of the Jewish Bible' and Madonna gave him a volume of The Book of Splendor, the guiding text of Kabbalah inscribed "To Shimon Peres, the man I admire and love, Madonna," the Yediot Ahronot daily reported.

"You don't know how popular the Book of Splendor is among Hollywood actors," Madonna told Peres, according to the Yediot. "Everyone I meet talks to me only about that. I am an ambassador for Judaism."

She sickens me. Us Christians are glad to get rid of her...let the Jews have her. She should give up the name "Madonna", take a Jewish name (Ester, Rebecca, Sarah) and move to Israel and go away. And TAKE THAT AFRICAN CHILD AWAY FROM HER!!! To raise him in a faith that his family would not approve is blasphemy. Oh, she will be burning in hell BIG TIME!

Madonna has always been a master of self promotion. This is just the latest incarnation of it...nothing more. Her music isn't doing much, she's aging big time...she's an attention whore and can't stand to be out of the limelight for long periods of time. That's why she adopted little David (trying to be Jolie) and now, she's a (fake) "ambassador" for Judaism.She can pretend to be anything she likes, but in the end, she is, who she is.
