Madge Denies Father-Son Visit

Despite conflicting reports over the weekend, the biological father of Madonna's adopted son David, Yohane Banda, never met his boy while Madge was in Malawi. Madonna was in the country for 6 days to inaugurate her new orphanage in Lilongwe and to promote other philanthropic projects.

“I never met him,” said the soft-spoken farmer in a telephone interview from his Lipunga Village in the border district of Mchinji. “Plans were there for me to meet David but it never happened.”
