Live Nation Donates $50K To Prop 8

October 31, 2008

Live Nation has just donated $50,000 to help the fight against the passing of Proposition 8. The organization, which represents Madonna, Jay Z, and U2, says they feel it takes away from individual rights.

A spokesperson for the company says, "Live Nation has always offered equal rights and benefits to our employees’ same-sex partners. It is in this spirit that we have made the decision to donate $50,000 to the No on Prop. 8 campaign."
