Hollyscoop has learned
EXCLUSIVELY that there is a warrant issued out for
Lindsay Lohan's arrest.
The warrant is due to failure to comply with court orders stemming back from her last DUI arrest and hit-and-run.
Lohan was arrested twice in 2007 and pleaded no contest to being under the influence of cocaine, driving with a blood-alcohol level above 0.08 percent and reckless driving.
As part of her plea deal, the actress was placed on probation for 36 months and sentenced to 24 hours in jail.
She was also ordered to complete an 18-month alcohol-education program and perform 10 days of community service. She served 84 minutes in jail.
A Los Angeles based attorney tells Hollyscoop that the warrant issued for her arrest could have been due to failure to meet with her probation officer or failure to complete a mandatory drug test. If she missed even one of the above, a judge can issue a warrant for her arrest.
The fine set for the warrant is currently at $50K and sources at LAPD tell Hollyscoop

The Police Department released the following statement on Friday evening:
"In response to media inquiries, [the] Beverly Hills Police Department is confirming a warrant was in fact issued today [March 13] for the arrest of Lindsay Lohan. The $50,000 warrant issued by the Beverly Hills Superior Court stems from a May 2007 arrest of Miss Lohan for DUI and hit-and-run.
"The circumstances leading to the issuance of the warrant by the court are not readily available at this time. It is our hope that Miss Lohan will surrender herself so that this matter will be resolved in a timely manner."
