In the November issue of Playboy magazine, which is out on newsstands now, Usher compares his failed marriage to Tameka Foster to Lindsay's massive problems.
"In an era when sensationalism is more prevalent than anything, yeah, [the split helped my popularity]," Usher tells Playboy.
"People love a train wreck. Lindsay Lohan – everybody is eager to see how that comes out. This is somewhat the same thing."
The marriage ended on such bad terms, he admits there's no way he'll rush into another one anytime soon. "Seeing how marriage didn't work out for me the first time, I'm in no rush to do it again," he says.
"Maybe I can find a couple of women who are open-minded. Look at how Hugh Hefner does it, with a harem of women," he added.
It's kind of sad that he compared his divorce to Lindsay's problems, but he's not totally off. People love reading about celebrity scandals and their downfalls. Breakups and rehab stints get more press than humanitarian efforts. It's sad, but it's the truth.
