Sam shelled out $22,000 for a Cartier diamond ring for Lilo yesterday. The two were just out doing a little window-shopping, and the next thing ya know Lindsay is sporting some serious bling!

Sources close to the girls say it is not an engagement ring. It's just a token of her commitment.

Sam even posted this picture of her and Lilo making out on her official Myspace page. So is this proof enough that they're a couple, or are we still supposed to pretend they're just friends?

OK, I just need to understand this better: LL was screwing every guy in hollyweird for the past 3 years and now all of a sudden she's a lesbian?
