Is Lindsay Lohan heading back to jail? If the police have anything to say about it, then probably yes!
The Palm Desert Police Department released a statement about Lindsay regarding her December 12 fight with the Betty Ford employee saying that she did in fact violate her probation.
"The investigation determined Ms. Lohan violated several aspects of her probation, including the battery [charge],” they said today.
Lindsay was warned by L.A. Superior Court Judge Elden Fox that if she did anything in violation of her probation, she’d be sent straight to jail for six months. We hear Lilo will face Fox in court on February 25 for a routine progress report hearing.
Meanwhile Lindsay's lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley is pissed the authorities released any info about her client possibly violating her probation.
"The important, yet limited, investigatory role of the police to gather facts and collect evidence is well-established," Shawn Chapman Holley told People in a statement.
"The fact that the Palm Desert Police Department went outside this limited role to issue a press statement expressing its opinion about what should happen in Ms. Lohan's case is highly unusual and deeply troubling."
As of now, the court hasn’t received a formal notice of the incident. But I’m sure Judge Fox has caught wind of the starlet’s behavior while in rehab.
